Also the Egyptians liked to fish in the boats
they built and ride them in the river Nile.
But even though the Egyptians had good
lives they didn’t have electricity. People
think that civilisations from the past aren’t
very clever, but Ancient Egyptians proved
different. Because of there inventions e.g.
the shduf.

Children liked to play leapfrog and tug of war. They also
played with Egyptian toys such as dolls. It was fun to go down
to the river and have a picnic, fish, or try to catch water birds.
The hole family played games when the mother of the house
wasn't busy, which she normally was. They played games such
as knuckle-bones and checkers. And the men went
hunting. Also they invented a lot games we still play today like
hockey. They used palm trees instead of sticks and leather balls
for pucks.
In the picture below two people are playing a game called tug
of hoop. What you did was two people competed to snatch the
hoop.

The Egyptians Kings and Queens had servants to
serve them food, water and fan them. Even though
they could do things there selves they got servants
to do things for them. The Egyptian kings and
queens believed the were special and shouldn't
have to do things there selves. When they died
they got people to kill two servants so that when
they came back in after life the servants would
