 On examination: 6x6 cm soft lump in the
superior quadrant, mobile
 No ax LNs palpable
 FNA yielded thick mucoid/ gelatinous
aspirate
Case 2
 70 years female
 Left breast lump – 4 months
 On examination: left breast superior
quadrant lump, 4x5 cm, cystic
 FNA yielded 20 ml of sanguinous fluid
 After attempted evacuation, a residual
lump was felt
Case 3
 40 years female
 Right breast lump for 1 week
 On examination: 6x5 cm, firm to
hard mass in medial quadrant
of right breast, mobility
restricted
 FNA yielded bloody aspirate
Case 4
 55 year female
 Lump right breast – 2 months
 On examination: 4 x 4 cm lump in the
lateral quadrant, firm, areola
thickened and fixed to underlying
breast tissue
 Early peau d’orange
 FNA- blood mixed aspirate
Case 5
 29 years female
 Indurated sinus in
the left breast
axillary tail
 On examination:
Healed sinus with
a 4x4 cm firm
mass around it.
 FNA- Blood
mixed aspirate

 45 years female
 Lump in left breast – 6
months
 OE- lump in medial
quadrant of left breast
with a discharging
sinus
 FNA yielded purulent
blood mixed aspirate
