and house painter in the past. Examination
of the skin reveals chronic sun damage A
pearly papule is present near the left eye.
The surface is focally ulcerated and
prominent subepidermal blood vessels
(telangiectasias) are present on the
surface of the papule.

Likely diagnosis?
This nodular basal cell carcinoma of the ear has a rolled
border and a somewhat translucent appearance.
Telangiectasia may be present.
