The weather in the UK
Severe weather is becoming increasingly common in the UK,
possibly as a consequence of climate change.
One of the most common weather hazards
the UK faces is heavy snow, the arrival of
which is becoming less easy to predict.
The UK Climate Impacts Programme
was set up by the government in 1997 to
understand, and prepare strategies for,
the impact of climate change in the UK.

weather hazards such as blizzards and ice?
