What type of circuit does it apply to? Upcoming dates Tuesday, 3/1 – Unit quiz Thursday, Friday, 3/3 – Electricity Test and last day to turn in unit missing work 3/4 – 3NWS Extra credit due by 4:00 PM Wednesday, Friday, 3/9 – Magnetism quiz 3/11 – End of the 3NWS Unit 9: Electricity Friday, 2/26 1. Which of Kirchoff’s rules apply to the circuit to the left. 2. What is the name of Kirchoff’s other rule? What type of circuit does it apply to? Project – 20 minutes Directions Part 1 Measure the voltage of the battery. Turn the dial to 20 on the multi-meter (top left) Place one probe on the positive (+) and one probe on the negative (-) end. Record the voltage. Part 2 Measure the resistance of the resistors Turn the dial to 20 (bottom left) Place a probe on each side of the resistor Record the resistance for each resistor (green, blue, and red) Review – 30 minutes When you are finished show me your work and you can check the key.
