Ivana Pandora Pandora is an interesting goddess to learn about. Pandora was the first human woman created from the deities (clay gods). They were supposed to create a man but Zeus got mad and commanded them to create a woman. Pandora was known for her intelligence, beauty, and being the first women. She was supposed to be Prometheus’s punishment for giving fire. Her curiosity got the better of her and unleashed all mankind’s evil. Pandora is an amazing goddess in Greek Mythology to learn about. Pandora was created when Zeus got very angry at Prometheus for giving people fire. Since Zeus wanted to get them back, he married a beautiful goddess named Hephaestus to create a beautiful woman named Pandora. Zeus sent Pandora to Prometheus as a punishment. He made sure they got married. Zeus gave Pandora a box and told her not to open it. Pandora was very curious about the box, and she opened it. Sicknesses and worries were flying out of the box. When she was crying, she still looked very beautiful. “Why can’t the leaves be as colorful as the rest of the world? It’s so plain and boring. Oh, how I wish that the leaves would be so colorful! Hello, my fellow sister. What brings you here?” Sylvia asked. Sylvia hoped that her sister could help her. Later on, both girls were playing in the fields together when they got into a HUGE fight. When Zeus overheard them fight, he was very angry at both of them. Zeus decided to break up their fight with a quick game of Cyclops versus Olympians. That game is like a race, so that whoever can get the diamond of colors first wins the game and gets to keep the diamond too. Since Sylvia was so attracted to colors, she zipped right through the race in lightning speed to catch that diamond. After Sylvia got the diamond, her sister was so mad that they fought so much that they almost broke the diamond when it fell and it fell it on the leaf of a deciduous tree. When Sylvia picked it up from the ground, it shocked her and a shiver went down her spine. From that day, whenever Sylvia touches the leaf of a deciduous tree, it will change to the colors red, orange, yellow, and brown because of the diamond of colors, and that is how Sylvia’s wish came true!
