CIVIC ENGAGEMENT:
We have the two major civic engagement projects: The Pink Garden - we have an area in the SU
garden in which we plan to grow pink flowers, fruits, herbs and vegetables in honor of women
with Breast Cancer. We invite students to participate in planting and maintaining the garden so
that it can be used for classes, outreach programs, etc. The other project is related to support of
women with breast cancer in India through the NGO Sanjeevani- Life Beyond Cancer. We hope
to do some fund-raising events this year on campus.
