Light Microscope:
Used for magnifying microscopic
objects.
Dissecting microscope:
Used to view small animals, plants or organs
when dissecting them. Can produce a 3 dimensional
image.
Electron microscope
Use electrons to view the
image. Much larger
magnification than a regular
light microscope.

Measures out drops of liquid

Used to place specimen you
are dissecting in.
Dissecting pins:
Help to secure the specimen
you are dissecting.
Thermometer:
Measures temperature in degrees Celcius
Petri dish:
Shallow dish used to culture bacteria
