Which Stain Fighter
Works Best?
The battle of stain
fighters progresses…
Problem
What is the best way to fight
stains… using a pen immediately
or using spray after the stain
has set?
Hypothesis
I predict that the spray will
work better because it is more
powerful.
Procedure
 Get a few white t-shirts
 Stain them with ketchup, mustard,
chocolate, and cranberry juice
 Use the stain removing pen
immediately on the stains
 Let the other shirts stains set
 Use the spray on the other stains
 See which one got the stain out
better

Shirts

Stain fighting spray
Results
It turned out that I was
correct. However after using
the pen then washing the shirt,
and using the spray and then
washing the shirt. The shirt
that was sprayed came out
slightly better. The worst
stain was mustard. It was still
very visible even after
washing.
Conclusion
In conclusion, my hypothesis
was correct. The spray removed
the stains better than the pen.
The worst stain was mustard.
