Sends electronic information from
one computer to another


E-mail is often used to deliver bulk
unsolicited messages, or "spam"


SMTP (Simple Mail transfer Protocol) the set of rules that a computer need to
use to be able to exchange electronic
data over the Internet
Filters can be used to delete unwanted
e-mail

Open an e-mail program. You can use Flashline if you never used e-mail
before.
Create a message and send it to [email protected].
In the Subject write be “CS19995”
In the body of the message answer the following questions. If you do not
the answer, just say “I do not know”.

What is your name and your class (freshman, sophomore, ect..)?

Briefly introduce yourself by telling me about yourself, your hobbies
and anything you would like me to know about you.



