Project Objectives
 Objectives:
 Promote transparency and competition.
 Map performance of broadband connections in
different areas of the country.
 Tools:
 Provide consumers with:
 simple, easy to use tools, to measure their broadband connection
(performance, network neutrality)
 useful personalized and country-wide geographical statistics.
 Develop statistical methods and tools for use by the
NRA.
The Athens M-Lab Node

M-Lab web site is available in Greek:

KO.M.E.X. utilizes the Athens
Measurement Lab Node, donated by
EETT and GRnet to the M-Lab
partnership.

 3 high-end (3x2x4-core CPUs)
measurement servers.
 1Gbps optical link with GR-IX via
GRnet’s network.


The GR-IX interconnects Greek ISPs’
