Alcohol: What is a Violation?
• Having alcohol if you are under 21
possession = immediate span of control, not ownership
• Having alcohol in your body
• Having an open container of alcohol in vehicle
• Driving while under the influence (DUI)

Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia:
What is a Violation?
• Having any usable quantity of any illicit drug; it is a FELONY in
the state of Arizona
• Illegal use of prescription drugs
• Having drug paraphernalia which is any item used in conjunction with
an illegal drug

Sex Offenses
• Sexual abuse: Intentionally / knowingly
engaging in sexual contact with any person
over 15yrs old without consent from that
person
• Sexual assault Intentionally / knowingly
engaging in sexual intercourse or oral
sexual contact with any person and, without
consent of that person

Sex Offenses: Definitions
• SEXUAL CONTACT: any direct/indirect
touching, fondling, or manipulating of any part
of the genitals, anus, or female breast by any
body part or object.
• ORAL SEXUAL CONTACT: Oral contact with
the penis, vulva or anus

Definition: Without Consent
 Victim is coerced by immediate use or threatened
use of force against a person or property
 Victim is incapable of consent by reason of
 Mental disorder
 Mental defect
 Drug impairment
 Alcohol impairment
 Sleep
 Any other impairment of cognition that should
have been known to the defendant

ASU Weapons Policy
Use, possession, display or storage of any weapon,
explosive device, or fireworks is prohibited on ASU
property.
Definitions
• Fireworks- any fireworks, fire crackers,
sparklers, rockets, or any propellant-activated
device whose intended purpose is primarily
for illumination.
• Weapon- any object or substance designed to
inflict a wound.
