Government Economics is a required course for
Sophomores.
On block scheduling students spend ½ semester in each
course (Govt./Econ.)
STEPS and Economics CC used to design course.
Business teachers teach the economics portion

SS-per NCLB

Hybrid Schedule implemented
Rationale: Students in core content courses when taking KCCT





Econ and Govt will meet for 45 minutes each day all
year. Econ will meet one semester and Govt the
other.
