Guatemala achieved its independence on September 15, 1821 when a
group of council notable men in Guatemala City declared it independent
from Spain.In 1945, a lot of political parties began to form which was

by one leader. When people wanted agreements to end the
long Civil War of Guatemala leftist parties participated in politics.
