Unlike DC injection, this approach provides much higher torque per ampere,
and permits continuous estimation of motor speed.
The new method causes extra losses to be induced in the motor by applying a
second set of three- phase voltage vectors to the motor in addition to the
normal set of voltage vectors used for speed control.
The energy returned to the DC link by the normal vector set is used to create the
second set of loss-inducing vectors, which dissipate that energy in the motor.
