RCBOs - B Type - Available in 7 Ratings
An RCBO is a combined RCCB and MCB in one unit
providing earth leakage, overload and short circuit
protection.
An RCBO may be installed anywhere along the length of
the busbar and will occupy one outgoing way.
Manufactured in accordance to BS EN 61009-1.

breaker).
They have 2 specific purposes:
-To protect plant and equipment from fires
started by low fault currents passing from
live to earth.
-To prevent fatal electric shock on
personnel by reducing to safe levels the
value and length of time a person is
exposed to current flow through the body.
An RCD does not detect over-current or
short circuits and should be used in
conjunction with a MCB.
