Emperor of
China. Then tea
spread to Japan.
It finally arrived
in England
during the 17th
century
The Legend
According to a
legend, the
Chinese Emperor
Chen Nung used to
drink only boiled
water. One day the
wind dropped a few
leaves of tea plants
in his boiled water.
He tasted the
resulting brew, and
the beverage of tea
was born.
