Course Name: Chamber Orchestra
Prerequisites: Teacher recommendation/audition
MU 94 is a string orchestra, limited by instrumentation and size typical of chamber orchestra, which provides
the advanced student an opportunity to perform standard string repertoire. Emphasis is on developing
musicianship and advanced technique/skills. Special concert attire may be worn. Placement is by teacher
recommendation/audition.
Grade Level: 10-12
Level of Difficulty: Average-High
# of Credits: 1- 2 Sem. – ½-1 Credit
The following Instrumental Music Performance Objectives are integrated throughout the entire course:
