What Is a Galaxy?
A Galaxy is a bound of gas, dust, planets
moons and Suns.
Galaxies and Earth ( our Galaxy, the Milky
Way) were all made from a miracle called
the Big Bang. The Big Bang made spiral or
oval Galaxies which over time changed in
shape and size. Then planets and stars
evolved inside them.

How Many Galaxies Are There?
Scientists estimate there are approximately
200 too 300 billion stars in the Milky Way
but a German telescope computer
estimated 500 billion+ stars.
Scientists recommend there is a galaxy out
there for every star so any of those stars
could be a galaxy.

How Many Suns are There?
There are a unknown amount of suns in the
Universe because we’re still exploring but,
there are more than 1000 suns

Why do We Have Suns?
• Without the Sun we would freeze. It keeps
us warm, lets plants exists, it provides
gravity for the earth to orbit the Earth.
Without the Sun Earth would Die out.
