There was a good reason why we decided to create dual-pane file manager: for so many years
Mac OS lacked a fast dual-pane file manager, where you could work without switching back and
forth among the windows - all within one. Don't get us wrong - we love Finder, but even in 10.11
it still lacks a lot of options.
Some would say that dual-pane file manager is well in the past, but when you are working with
big loads of data, there is nothing more convenient.
So our aim was to make Commander One appealing to those who work on their Macs a lot and
value every minute of their time. Commander One should save thousands of hours spent at the
computer.

Despite dual-pane file manager being kind of old-school, we chose the most modern tool to
develop Commander One. We also started a blog http:// dev.eltima.com where we shared the
development steps and glitches we found in Swift during the process and how to solve those.
The blog has seen more than 18 thousand readers so far, and we keep on working on
Commander One and have more interesting stuff to share. Since version 1.2 Commander One
