UltraConnect UC-372-ASG Security Communicators
TM
UltraConnect UC-372 ADSL Security Communicator is a high-end ADSL modem which supports the
transport of legacy security and fire alarm signalling over ADSL, IP and cellular networks. With an
extensive range of physical interfaces, powering and network transport options, UltraConnect Security
Communicators offer an unparalleled level of functionality and reliability for legacy terminal users seeking
to move their transport infrastructure to multi-path IP networks without replacing their existing burglar
alarm and fire alarm terminals. The equipment also supports a low cost video surveillance capability, with
access to live and recorded video from CCTV and IP cameras at the monitored premises.
Applications
UltraConnect Security Communicators are
designed for applications where there is a need to
transport messages from legacy alarm equipment
over IP wide area networks. Typical examples
include:

Fire alarm panels with relay or serial interfaces

Intrusion detection systems with digital dialers

Access control systems

Video alarm verification
Managed Dual-Paths Communications
UltraConnect Security Communicators support
transport over fully integrated IP/ADSL, Cellular
and/or PSTN paths. Deploy with a single or
multiple solution depending on the required cost
and reliability. Deploy dual path, e.g. ADSL and
cellular where network availability is critical.
Further, the communications paths are fully
managed by the UltraAgent network server,
ensuring rapid fault detection and restoration.
Compatible With Installed Equipment
All-in-one Box
Typical alarm monitoring network comprise alarm
panels or other devices with low speed interfaces
connected to private circuits, point-to-point radio
networks or the PSTN.
UltraConnect Security Communicators implement
dedicated serial data, VF, PIN and other interfaces
in order to connect directly to the terminal
equipment. This means there is no need to
replace or modify the existing terminal equipment.
UltraConnect UC-372-ASG
Just add the UltraConnect and migrate the
application to broadband and/or cellular networks.

No need to cobble together a solution consisting of
IP panel interface + ADSL modem + cellular
modem + custom controller + battery.
UltraConnect Security Communicators are highly
integrated and provide all these features in a
single, convenient, managed and secure box.
