Omron Fins Ethernet
1.Overview
The Omron Fins Ethernet Driver was designed specifically for 32 bit ZPMC OPC Server. This
driver supports communication with Omron CS1G42H model by Ethernet through network card of
your PC. The communication setting for device can be completed by CX-One/CX-Programmer
software supplied by Omron, see Configure and Connect with hardware for more details. This
driver supports UDP/IP for communication protocol. This driver is intended for use with Fins.
This application supports the following Microsoft Windows operating systems:

The ZPMC OPC server requires, at a minimum, the following hardware:

Intel Pentium III 400 MHz or equivalent processor that supports Microsoft's Windows operating
system
512 MB installed RAM (256 MB free)
40 MB available disk space
Available Serial Port or Ethernet Card
2.Configure and Connect with hardware
The map below shows the ZPMC OPC Server connect to Omron Fin by Ethernet:

You can double click the plc project in CX-One/CX-Programmer, and then click “Network type” to
choose type or click “setting” to set IP in the “Change plc” dialog.
2.How to import plc program:
You can choose “Transfer” in the “plc” menu, then select “Download” to plc or “Upload
from plc”.

3.How to Online:
You can right click the plc project in the left tree view, then choose “Work Online” in the menu.
3.Configure ZPMC OPC Server
1.New a Driver, as following:

4.Click finished to complete creating a new driver;

5.New a Device for the driver, as following:
6.Named the new device in Device Name textbox;
7.Input the IP of PLC in Device IP textbox and select the device model;

8.Input the port number and select IP protocol as following;
9.Set the Fins network configuration parameters.Click finished, ZPMC OPC Server configuration
completed.

4.IO variable Addressing
The address format is below:
