• New architecture and concepts introduced: installation and configuration of servers, routers and

• WAN and LAN backbone definition. Test and improvement of communications of the branches in

• Network services: DNS, DHCP, proxy web, e-mail server, Active Directory, corporate IM, File
Sharing, intranet web;
• Definition and implementation of a new network guide and support to help better management
and use of the network.
• Supervision and diagnostics: configuration of a graphical monitoring system for network and
service based on SNMP/RRD. Logging of routers and switches. Automation of router
configuration backups. Centralized and semi-automated server backups based on network-todisk;
• Network and systems maintenance support;
• Development of a CD with automated system incl. disaster-recovery for installation and
configuration of software for workstations based on Windows 2000;
• Implementation of an advanced public attendance system.
Consultant at Angola Telecom / Movicel in Angola.
• Support in the concept of a new network architecture to provide autonomy to Movicel (public
mobile phone company) from Angola Telecom. Configuration of Cisco and RAD routers;
• Implementation of an advanced public attendance system;
• Support to the “Miss Angola” TV show from TPA for the election of Miss Movicel through SMS
voting. Live broadcast of results using mobile technology;
• Support to the “Estrelas ao Palco” TV show from TPA for the election of the final winner through
SMS, web and phone call (with IVR) voting. Live broadcast of results using mobile technology.
Consultant at EMIS in Angola. Support for the ATM services with Frame-Relay and X.25 connections
