The following is a partial list of medications. They may have an effect on your blood's ability to clot and could increase yo ur tendency to bleed at the time of surgery
or procedure and during the postoperative period.
Please note: This is only a partial list.

DO NOT stop any medications without the permission from the prescribing physician. ie: primary care, cardiologist etc.

For surgeries DO NOT take any drugs on this list, at least two weeks prior to your surgery and one week post operatively with out the doctor's consent.

For procedures, such as injectable DO NOT take any drugs on this list 10 days before and 3 days after, without the doctor’s c onsent.

Check the labels of all medication that you take, even those available without a prescription. Ask your local pharmacist abou t questions regarding any medications you
may be taking, but please consult your physician prior to stopping any prescribed medication.
