Tyler Strickland is a film composer and songwriter based in Los Angeles.
In 2010, he put aside a six-year-long global touring career as a guitarist to embark on
his newfound path as a composer for film and TV. Tyler's scores have since
accompanied acclaimed documentary films such as The Genius of Marian (Tribeca Film
Festival 2013), Tough Love (Full Frame Film Festival 2014), Emmy-Winning series from
NPR in 2014, Planet Money Makes A T-Shirt, and more.

Tyler attended the Sundance Film Festival of 2015 in support of Netflix hit, Hot Girls
Wanted, a documentary about the amateur pornography industry produced by Rashida
Jones, as well as Fresh Dressed; the star-studded, CNN-produced documentary about
the history of urban fashion. Tyler has also scored other 2015 films; The Many Sad
Fates of Mr. Toledano (Tribeca Film Festival, Sheffield Doc Film Festival), and
Overburden (Full Frame Doc Film Festival).

Currently in production is Best And Most Beautiful Things, a documentary about a
legally-blind and autistic young woman who finds acceptance through a unique
community in rural Maine. The film is executive produced by Kevin Bright, the mind
behind the hit TV show, Friends.

Tyler's scores have been heard at the most prestigious film festivals worldwide. His
compositions have often been preformed by orchestras, and his films mixed with
Oscar-winning engineers at the Skywalker Ranch. His music can be heart in Clio,
Webby, and Addy award-winning commercial campaigns for Google, YouTube, HBO,
Burberry, Nike and Lenovo.

Currently, Tyler is developing instrumental albums, Musique Des Branches & Lydian
Crowhawk, scoring several feature-length documentary and narrative films throughout
2015, as well as co-writing with other recording artists and running his commercial
music company in Santa Monica, RADIANT.
