ZACH RUSK Composer Releases CHANGES Classical and new age composer/pianist ZACH RUSK is proud to announce the release of Changes. Rusk wrote changes as a follow up to his successful album entitled Ensemble aired in the U.S. and around the world. The compositions on the Changes album are directly inspired by relationships in Rusk’s life that have left lasting impressions in his personal and artistic life and those who have been there for him while pursuing his life’s true passion - music. The other songs on Changes are deeply felt artistic expressions that are able to capture the listener through the universal appeal and vision of a new voice in American music. At a young age, Rusk utilized his outlet of playing piano as a coping mechanism for Tourrette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, Aspergers, and Scoliosis, where rods and screws were fused into his spine. Rusk constructed his first composition at age 14, garnering attention from publications around the country. In November 2010, one of Rusk’s first freely recorded compositions/improvisation (Second Wind) charted in the international top 100 for independent recording artists verified by the IAIRA. LEANDRA RAMM Sings Like A Dream Angel on the Celebrity Cruise Lines Solstice Class Ships. Before that, she played the lead role of Annie in Hell’s Kitchen, The Musical, at the Hudson Guild Theater in Manhattan. Another recent role was Leila in Iolanthe at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival, performing at the Buxton Opera House in England. She also created the role of Silvestra in the professional premier of Mario and the Magician, at the Center for Contemporary Opera in New York and she’s featured on the CD of the work, under the Albany Records label. DREAM ANGEL is LEANDRA RAMM’s first single, combining pop and classical music to create a unique vocal style. Think Katherine Jenkins crossed with Celine Dion and you may be some way towards defining Leandra’s amazing voice. Born and raised in New York City, Leandra made her debut at the age of 14 as a soloist in Kurt Weill’s The Eternal Road with the American Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leon Botstein and performed at the Avery Fisher Hall. Opera and classically trained, she’s recently been performing all over the Caribbean and Europe as lead singer If there’s something slightly familiar about Dream Angel... it’s because it’s based on Bach’s haunting Prelude in C Major. It’s not the first time a singer has ‘borrowed’ from the classics. Barry Manilow did it using a Chopin prelude as the basis for Could It Be Magic. Despite its 18th century origins, Dream Angel sounds modern and fresh. ‘I love the idea of crossover music,’ says Leandra, ‘as it sums up my passion of all types of music. It’s very satisfying to combine something that has stood the test of time, but give it a totally new dimension.” Dream Angel is now available on Amazon. The website is www.leandraramm.com. 39
