OKAWA
Born in Chiba, Japan, received first piano lessons at age of three.
1975 – 1981 Study at the “Hochschule fuer Musik in Munich” with the
master class diploma.
Studied under Prof. Carl Seemann, Prof. Paul Badura-Skoda and with
Begona Uriarte, the Spanish pianist.
1987 “Luis Coleman Award” the special prize for Performers of
Spanish Music in Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Giving concerts in Japan and Europe.
Recordings with the works of Isaac Albeniz, Spanish composer.
2002 Recording also Improvisation cycle on church organ in
Lithuania.
2005 recital at Beethoven house and Hugo Wolf House by Vienna.
2006 recital in all Spanish program in Casals Hall Tokyo.
2009 Rain Meets The Sun at Cirlionis Mumeum Kaunas, Lithuania.
2011 Fresh Winds in Gardur, Iceland.
2011 recital for the celebration of Independence Day presided by
Lithuanian Embassy, Tokyo.
2011 Concert in Franz Liszt Konzerthalle in Raiding (Liszt’s born place,
200th Birthyear)
2013 Full Bloom Pont de Montvert, France.
2014 Schumann’s Piano concerto with Philharmonic Symphonic
Orchestra “George Enescu” in Bucharest, Rumania.
