Seasonal Affective Disorder
(SAD), also known as winter
depression, is a mood
disorder in which people who
have normal mental health
throughout most of the
year experience depressive
symptoms in the winter.
Our experience of this ‘change
in mood’, which is now affecting
people from all walks of life
has been widespread, and we
give below some of the natural

The old adage of a hot bath with

At the Centre we have seen
several patients in the past few
weeks who are suffering from
a ‘typical’ flu - Sore Throat,
High Temperature and achy
limbs – resulting in the need to
go to bed for a few days. This
appears to be an ‘A’ strain virus
and therefore it is important
that you rest, keep warm and
take some kind of remedy to
ease the symptoms and help
the body to recover.
We fairly quickly start to see
a pattern to these illnesses
and if you give us a ring we
will take notes and advise you
accordingly – please be careful
taking remedies that advise
‘symptoms disappear’ as the
immune system will have been
compromised and this can
prove an ongoing problem i.e.
it does not come back into full
action.
