•Richard Adams (professional name Richard Fitch), Associate director of Richard III at Trafalger Studios,
West End, see article on page 6 •Katharina Aff, Works in project management for an international booth building
company, she gets to travel around the world and has already been to London, Shanghai, Moscow and Salzburg this
year. She also completed a masters degree in management last September Aaron Ahmad, Assistant studio
engineer at Metropolis Studios, London, he has worked with clients including Frank Ocean, will.i.am, Cheryl Cole,
Future, Benji B, Tomoyasu Hotei, Chase & Status, Kylie Minogue, Nero and Mika Sarah Alexander, Production
assistant on films such as Captain America 1 and 2, Thor 2 and currently, Avengers 2 at Shepperton Studios. She is also
a freelance writer/film reviewer and her articles have appeared in publications including the Guardian. She previously
worked on productions with C4, BBC1 and 2 and Sky and in LA with the Los Angeles Film Festival David Alnwick,
Magician and comedian, he recently filmed an advert for PlayStation 4 which has just been released. He is currently
working on three shows for the Edinburgh Fringe, where his previous shows have received 5-star reviews
Ziyad Al-Samman, Member of the band Pink Film, they are writing and recording with various producers and
looking to release their first single and video soon Anton Asuquo (professional name Anton Bassey),
This year he has appeared in The Taming of the Shrew with The Detroit Shakespeare Festival; Anthony and Cleopatra
with Shakespeare in Detroit; the Eminem music video Headlights, directed by Spike Lee and Walk Tall with The Detroit
Broadcasting Company. He co-wrote, directed and featured in the film A Thousand Words which will be presented at
The Mitten Movie Project in June, when his sketch series Leftovers will also be presented at the Cinetopia International
Film Festival. He is currently booked for three films: suspense thriller, Eloise, prison drama Heartlock and a blockbuster
film currently under wraps (www.antonbassey.com) Andrew Baardsen, Formed the band Eye Emma Jedi with
fellow graduate Alexander Pavelich, they are the only band in Norway to have had all of their six singles playlisted on
NRK P3. They have played over 80 shows across Norway, Germany and the UK, and had their last two releases
playlisted on over 30 radio stations in Germany, and 50 radio stations in the US. Last year they played at the Great
Escape in Brighton and Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, obtaining a worldwide booking deal with The Agency Group.
The pair have also set up their own studio outside Oslo, where he works on his own music under the alias Baardsen,
records Eye Emma Jedi and mixes local bands. His remixes for Grimes and Warpaint got airplay on Radio 1 and his
remix of fellow graduate Dan Croll’s track From Nowhere was used on Grand Theft Auto V Andrew Balham, Audio
visual technician at the National Gallery for the last three years Daryl Ball, Currently working in retail management
to save for a future move, he has also done some recording with local artists Martin J Barker, Freelance costume
and scenery designer and director, this year he worked as producer, director and designer for an outdoor
production of Into the Woods. Previous credits include Aida and Into the Woods (2011, costume design), Pirates of
Penzance (costumes, set and director) and Me and My Girl (director). He also runs a successful online retail site
Caitlin Barnett, Currently freelancing at Epsom College assisting with their dance and drama department while
continuing to work on her own choreography. She has also been collaborating with a musician on choreography for a
music video Xaime Barreiro-Martínez, Guitar player and editor for communication media. He is a member of
the band Anfibia, playing funk music, touring around Spain and working on their soon-to-be recorded first studio album.
He also works for independent production company, Correo Television in Galicia, Spain. The company produces shows
for TV and he is a presenter of shows in his role as sales manager Chloe Bassett, Teaching assistant at a primary
school in Notting Hill, soon to embark on teacher training. She also runs arts, storytelling and Spanish workshops for
young children in West London Cyrus Bayandor, Self-employed bass player, touring with The Staves, Sivu, and
Hudson Taylor on UK, European and US headlines tours and festivals Faye Benson, Dancing and performing on
the Costa neoRomantica of Costa Crociere’s new exclusive collection, she recently toured around the Mediterranean
and is currently travelling around the Norwegian fjords and Sweden James Bentley, Working for Insight 360i, a
company which produces 360 virtual interactive tours. He recently spent three months in the USA as sound engineer
at a church in Arkansas. Previously he spent three years as a teaching technician in the music technology department
at King George V College, Southport and a number of his former students are currently studying sound technology here
(www.insight360i.com) Teresa Bernabé Martín, Plays cello and sings as one half of duo BLØSH, alongside
guitarist Jorgen Berg Svela, they have played with artists such as Depedro, Mikhael Paskalev, Jonas Alaska, Bow to
Each Other and Stealing Sheep. They spent the winter in the studio with Øyvind Gundersen to record their debut
material. Their first single C.A.t.L.Y. (Can't Afford to Lose You) is out in July, they have been booked for festivals such
as Musikkfest Oslo & Klubb:øya Mike Bindon, Curriculum manager for theatre at the International Baccalaureate
in Holland, leading the research, review and implementation for the diploma programme theatre course for 16-19-yearolds worldwide since 2012 Monika Blomeid (professional name Monika May), Her first single Ghost

Ray Bradshaw, Stand-up comedian who has recently done a live recording for 4 Stands Up (Radio 4), the

Chris Brady (professional name Chris D'Bray), Having collaborated with the Mark Edward dance
company in the filming, post production and installation of Council House Movie Star as part of the 2012 Liverpool
Homotopia festival he hopes to repeat this success by further collaborations with Mark Edward for Homotopia 2014.
He performs in theatre, site-specific, installation work, TV, films and within cabaret. He is also a freelance performing
arts lecturer and writer and graduated with a Certificate in Education from UCLAN in 2010 Emma Bramley,
Lectures part-time here on the community drama and acting courses and works freelance with schools and community
Joanne Brent, Dancer, actor and model, based in Hong Kong,

her recent credits include acting roles in Triumph in the Sky and GPS Heartbreak for Hong Kong broadcasting
company TVB; TV commercials for Samsung and Disneyland; a music video for MC Jin and Le French May (festival).
She also spent three years teaching commercial and contemporary classes to international clients
Anna Bruland (professional name Anna Lena), Plays with the band Farao, before Christmas they
supported Icelandic artist Asgeir through Europe, England and Iceland. They will be touring over the summer, mainly
in Norway and their lead singer is currently recording their debut album in Iceland. She is developing her solo career
and will be releasing a debut EP around Christmas. She also works for Communion Bookings as an A&R scout and does
some session work for films and TV Emma Brunnock (née Hazlehurst), Running Playgoers New Generation,
the theatre group that she established after graduating Kathleen Button, Touring with Circus Arena in Denmark
as sax/guitarist and vocalist, she has also worked for Circus Imperial over the past two years touring around Europe.
When she is not on tour, she spends most of her time working in an orphanage in Cambodia, she has travelled around
the world and supported the work of the orphanage for the past three years Joshua Byrne, Running his own
record label, XVI Records, in Vancouver, managing artists, writing and DJing Mattie Campbell, Established
Fracture Theatre, an inclusive theatre company based in the Tees Valley, which offers classes and performance to the
community. He recently qualified as a further education teacher and has been working at Stockton Riverside College
and Darlington College. He has also launched a new online dance business (www.onlinedancestudio.co.uk)
Joshua Cartlidge, Recently signed a contract with Princess Cruises taking him to November 2015. He has
previously worked on two cruise ships for Tallink and spent three years as a dancer and production manager for Costa
Cruises. Between ships, he worked as a dancer/animator at the five-star Blue Lagoon Resort in Kos Guy Chase,
Sound engineer at Scramble, an audio post production house in Soho, working on advertising campaigns for brands
such as Garnier, Betway and TUC. Currently mixing his first feature film, The Last Sparks of Sundown starring Kavan
Novak and Miles Jupp, to be released this summer Venetia Clarke, Embarking on a new role as events assistant
at the creative events agency, Timebased Events. She previously worked as an assistant accounts executive at Channel
5 and as an events administrator at the Echo Arena, where she spent a year assisting the team with a range of concerts
and managed the pre-show hospitality events for shows such as George Michael and Lionel Richie Wes Clarke,
Songwriting for Sony/ATV and working on his own new music Peter Cliff, Entertainments creative manager at the
Alton Towers Resort. Over the past year, he has collaborated with Children's BBC to bring CBeebies land to life, it is an
immersive and interactive performance concept, where children are inspired to learn through play. He is also
responsible for special events including the fireworks display and annual Halloween attraction, Scarefest. The resort
engages over 200 actors, dancers, vocalists, circus entertainers and street performers annually Mel Collins,
Recently moved to Beijing to teach dance to children. She previously taught dance around the Merseyside area to
pupils of all ages, she also worked for our widening participation department. She danced as part of a hip hop troupe
competing for Scotland in the ICU World Championships in Orlando, Florida and was part of the Funkymentals, which
most recently performed at the Vogue Ball in Liverpool. She also appeared in a UK soap Karl Connor, Co-founded
Liverpool-based artist and event management company, Fierce Management, alongside fellow graduate Jen Corrigan.
The company manages the band My Forever and provides programming and production services to Liverpool Pride
and the Liverpool Music Awards. He has also recently been writing for artists both in the UK and internationally. Earlier
this year a track he co-wrote was taken by Universal Records Europe and released across Europe by Luca Hanni, the
winner of the hit German TV series German Idol. This year he began working as a talent scout for Simon Cowell's

designer for shows off-West End while also working as a lighting technician at venues including the Royal Opera House

Fierce Management, alongside fellow graduate Karl Connor. Fierce Management manages the band My Forever and
programmes the line up for Liverpool Pride alongside providing event management for the Liverpool Music Awards. She

Edward Croft, Performs with his brother, Tommy, as comedy duo Jollyboat, touring the country, headlining comedy
clubs nationwide. They are back to the Edinburgh Fringe for their fifth consecutive year this year, expecting another

independent boutique department store Tyrers in St Helens, she designs and installs the displays in the
windows and throughout the departments. Alongside this she has worked on freelance projects for adverts and theatre
and is starting a handmade accessories business, Alice and Mary, with fellow alumna Kat Egan (on Facebook, Instagram
and Twitter) Paul Dale-Vickers, Lectures in performing arts at Wakefield College, he is also a composer, musician
and actor. His musical De Profundis, based on the work by Oscar Wilde, won the inaugural New Musical Project
competition at the Leicester Square Theatre where it premièred in May Mathew Davies, Performed for the Walt
Disney Company at events and shows all over Europe, Africa and Asia. He was the dance captain on the
Barney Live: Let's Go! tour in the Middle East. He is also co-creator of Hupsilly Hill, a YouTube sketch show for children
(www.youtube.com/HupsillyHill) Maria Devon, Currently working for the Liverpool Empire as FOH staff. Since
September, she has also been volunteering in schools which has enabled her to gain a place on the applied art and
design PGCE secondary course at Edge Hill University, starting in September. Her goal is to become an art teacher for
14-19-year-olds. She previously worked as stage crew on the Queen Elizabeth cruise liner and as casual lighting crew
at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool Matthew Donlan, Currently working as a technician in a school theatre in
St Albans Isobel Dooley-Kelly, Channel manager for Sony Music UK. She previously worked at RCA Records,
USA and at Ridley Scott and Associates (RSA Films) USA Tony Draper, Freelance sound engineer and producer,
mainly out of Parr Street Studios and Real World Studios. Most notable recent work includes the gold-selling 2012
Christmas UK Number one for Justice Collective. He also works on FOH sound for Swiss Lips, including TV work for
C4 and at various venues across the UK such as Brixton Academy. He is building a studio in Runcorn, Analogue Baby,
which is pitched at high-end film score mixing work and ADR and has links to London score mixers and the BBC
Maria Dunsmore, Freelance vocalist and band leader, she has established Parr Street Music School, based at
Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, teaching one-to-one vocals from beginners to advanced level. She also coaches signed
artists for recording projects and all aspects of performance and teaches vocals for Liverpool University. She has
coached at various stage schools including LIPA 4:19 and been involved with a choir for Action on Addiction
Aimee Dussold, Document controller at Forum Energy Technologies, she is also voluntary assistant manager and
marketeer at the Kirk Theatre in Pickering and has established her own jewellery business, Little Bird
Holly Easterbrook, Recently returned to the UK following a year back-packing, having been flown to Australia
by Tourism Australia after reaching the finals of the Best Job in the World - a competition to fill the role of VIP and social
media commentator for New South Wales. Her theatre credits include Eleanor Boardman in The Tailor-made Man at the
Arts Theatre, West End, Catherine in Proof for Sell a Door Theatre Company, Rachel in Glee on tour and several
productions in Dubai Sarah Eaton, Assistant to the MD at Northern Music Company, Omerch Ltd and AMF Music
Publishing. She works across the companies: managing a roster of mainly rock and heavy metal artists, managing
successful e-commerce and tour supply merchandiser, Omerch Ltd, and working on the development of AMF Music
Publishing Thomas Evensen, Freelance sound and lighting technician for various venues and rental companies,
he has worked as a lighting technician at Brageteatret in Norway and was the lighting designer for several plays there
Richard Ferrar, Assistant stage manager at the New Vic Theatre in Newcastle-under-Lyme. He has also
established his own business, Command Key ⌘, which provides tailored Apple computer training, support and
consulting for businesses, schools and professionals (www.cmd-key.com) Ashling Findlay-Carroll, Lecturer at
the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance alongside performing and directing on freelance projects for Conflux and
Eco Drama among others Laura Flanagan, Currently responsible for A-level dance at Townley Grammar School
for Girls. She spent a year teaching contemporary, ballet, jazz, musical theatre and physical theatre at The BRIT School
and she will be returning to teach there on a permanent basis from September. Her dance credits include an international
tour with State of Emergency Productions; touring as senior dancer with Keneish Dance in the African dance production
Vigour; Wayne Sables Project and National Dance Company Wales Charlotte Ford, Assistant project manager for
PRG - Europe's biggest lighting rental company, she supports a number of current West End productions including The
Lion King and Wicked. She also provides support in the office for the project management team on large projects
including this year’s Commonwealth Games Herman Gambhir, Actor working between LA, London and Houston
with film credits including the prize-winning Gatecrasher for HCR Films and indie short Los Jack Machine for Free Seed
Films. On TV he had a lead role in a daily Brit-Asian soap for Sky HD produced by Zee TV. He has performed in over
15 improvathons and joined the core cast of Extempore Theatre: highlights include playing twice at the Bristol Old Vic.
He was a founder member of CRAFT theatre company where he has worked with fellow graduate Rocky Rodriguez Jnr.
Currently he is studying for his personal training certificate. He is also in pre-production for a short to be filmed next
spring and works as a design associate for two studios, Really Studio (owned by fellow graduate Aaron Mavinga) and
Fietsklik Adrian Garcia Fernandez, Elementary school music teacher at the American International School of
Hong Kong, for the last four years. He also depped on Starlight Express, when the production came to Hong Kong as

Commitments at the Palace Theatre. His previous theatre credits include a UK arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar and
a UK No. 1 tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Andrew Girvan, Sales and marketing manager
at Digital Theatre which works in partnership with Britain's leading theatre companies to capture live performance
authentically on screen. He was previously deputy editor for Whatsonstage.com Simon Gold, Works for This is
Music Ltd in label and artist management for Simian Mobile Disco, Bicep and Tensnake to name a few
Stephanie Goulden, She is about to start a new role as a community support officer with Inspire in Wigan
working with young people from troubled backgrounds. She will be helping them to develop confidence and live
independently, sometimes using drama as a tool. She was previously a freelance drama practitioner working with
children and youth theatres Alexandra Graham (professional name Lexi Wolfe), Currently working on
forthcoming British feature film Simon. Recent work includes The Harry Hill Movie, Bollywood movie Humshakals and
ongoing viral Sherlock Holmes spoof No Place Like Holmes and the title role of The Mary Morstan Mysteries. She selfpublished the book Better Off Dead: The Story of Rosa the Fledgling Vampire in 2013. She is also co-director of new
production company Wildwolfe Productions Alex Grant, Directing young adults in musicals, coaching kids’ soccer,
and doing stand-up, based in Atlanta Daniel Greengrass, Buyer for independent menswear retailer Wellgosh,
he is also responsible for marketing the company and recently headed up the celebrations for its 25th anniversary
Jack Greengrass, A&R for Island Records/Universal Music. He is also doing some freelance composition and
working with various bands Tamira Hamam, Works in publishing at Oxford University Press and manages her own
blog. She previously completed a tour of a new play, All Because of Molly, which debuted at The Lowry before touring
the North Polly Hargreaves, Teaches on the BTEC production arts course at Salford City College, she completed
her teaching qualification after working in the college as a theatre technician and being offered the opportunity
to teach. She is in her second year of teaching and has just had her first two students accepted at RADA. She
previously travelled around Asia where she worked with young Nepalese monks to improve their English
Steven Harris, Genius with Apple in West Edmonton, Canada where he services and repairs all Apple electronics.
His training with the company over the last 18 months has included an extended visit to Atlanta, Georgia, to learn the
technical aspects of the role. He still does some sound technology work troubleshooting desktop audio and studio Mac
systems Michael Hassall, Currently, waiter/bar staff in a hotel in St Andrews, where he also does some marketing
work Michael Haworth, Musical director, formerly musician, with Holland American Line, working on cruise ships
all over the world Krist Heath, Sales and office assistant at Pro Audio Centre, working on in-store and online sales
and writing for the company blog. While he has been in the role, the business has grown from a single office operation
to having a dedicated warehouse and retail location. He also writes songs, sings and plays the keyboard
Michael Herbrik, Works for Made Management in Oslo where he manages Carnival Kids, Verses and others on
a company roster that includes Lemaitre, Sondre Lerche, Casiokids and John Olav Nilsen. He previously worked as
music manager for the Coca-Cola London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic project team and as brand partnerships and
product manager for Roadrunner Records UK David Herzog, He has worked for Merry-Go-Round Playhouse of
Auburn, New York, including their production of 9 to 5: The Musical. He is also a presenter with the London-based
musical theatre podcast MusicalTalk James Higham, Key Stage 3 leader of mathematics in a Widnes secondary
school and a part-time teacher of music in a secondary school in Liverpool. He works with several current LIPA
musicians regularly performing around the North West and as a freelance recording engineer he has worked with the
Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral choirs, and several classical ensembles Beth Hogan, Currently working with
Birmingham Infometrics on their Twitter scraping software development, while studying for a chartered postgraduate
diploma in marketing. She went freelance working as project co-ordinator with Friction Arts on To You From Super Me
with author Nick Hornby and artist Chris Keenan, following a year away from work with seven months in hospital.
Previously she spent two years as marketing and audience development officer with Birmingham-based production
company, Capsule, on the Home of Metal project, featuring exhibitions in galleries across Birmingham and the Black
Country and an international metal conference. She then worked for Sky Arts on the production of a heavy metal
Sarah Hogarth, Lecturer in drama at LJMU specialising in

contemporary performance and applied drama. She is also a member of All Things Considered Theatre, currently
working on a Big Lottery-funded project working with public services to create an interactive performance for young
people that explores child sexual exploitation Laura Hollowell, Freelance wardrobe and wigs supervisor, currently

won the Spellemannspris (Norwegian Grammy) for Best Children's Album in 2014. He has been working in two
Trondheim recording studios (Øra Studio and Støy AS) where he has played on four albums and multiple demos.

Mathea Homme (professional name Thea Dalen), Co-producer/actress on the film,

Watercolour Love, working with a director/writer who is based in LA and Oslo. It will be produced in both English
and Norwegian and she has also translated the script to Norwegian. Filming is scheduled to start next spring. In July,

in Dubai as an art director for event company, The Transformers. Her work involves designing and making
costumes and props for events, launch parties and brands. She has also created her own collection of hand

Emily Hunt (professional name Emily May), Dance captain for Mirage Shows and Productions aboard Fred
Olsen Cruise Lines. Last year she also danced with the Potters Theatre Company at the Atlas Theatre, Norfolk. She
previously worked as a dancer and singer for PEEL Productions aboard Thomson and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and
danced for E3 Live/The Business at Thomas Cook International conferences, while training and performing in various

Richard Branson on projects to help young entrepreneurs and was one of a group of high profile campaigners, including
James Caan, influential in the launch of the government Start Up Loans scheme. Her awards include the Woman of the

Bence Vagi, Works with his own company Recirquel, a contemporary circus and dance group, which premièred its
second production, The Naked Clown, at the Palace of the Arts in Budapest in April. The group toured Russia with its

across North America Kate Williamson (professional name Katie McIvor), Recently spent six weeks
performing with award-winning musical/comedy sketch show News Revue at the Canal Café Theatre in London. Other
recent credits include the musical Dr. Selavy's Magic Theatre with PK Productions, Monica in The Prime of Miss Jean
Brodie at Baron's Court and a tour of 1984 with Sell a Door Theatre Company. She also co-wrote lyrics for another
Sell a Door production, the musical Sincerely, Mr Toad, with the book by David Hutchinson and music by David Andrew
Wilson (both fellow LIPA gradates). They now have a producer behind them to help take the musical further. In 2012
she was the only Brit chosen to participate in the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University where she
received tuition from Broadway cabaret stars including Tony Award winner Faith Prince Emma Willicott, Team

worked for two AV companies in Alberta, All Star Show Industries and AV Strategies, mainly on festivals, corporate
and large scale concerts. He makes his money working in the oil sands of Northern Alberta.
