Tinea Versicolor
Etiology: Common superficial cutaneous fungal
eruption caused by Malassezia furfur
 History:

 Usually affects young adults
 Humid Environments

Physical:
 Oval macules and patches on the trunk
 Hyperpigmented and hypopigmented variants

Diagnosis:
 KOH – classic spaghetti and meatballs
(hyphae and spores)
