Event Overview
Convening medical aesthetic physicians from around the world
The World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine (WCAM), now in its 20th
year, is an international meeting held every other year specifically to
gather the world’s experts, thought leaders and practitioners in the
Aesthetic Medicine community, regardless of their specialty.
The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) has been
selected by the UIME’s executive committee to hold the 20th World
Congress of Aesthetic Medicine at the JW Marriott Miami, Florida on
November 12-15 November, 2015.
WCAM is presented by the Union Internationale de Médecine
Esthétique (UIME) which was founded in 1975 by four European
Countries (Belgium, France, Italy and Spain) in response to the blooming
of a new specialty within the medical world: Aesthetic Medicine. UIME
currently has 26 country association members representing over 33,000
physicians worldwide.
The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), established in
1999 by Dr Michel Delune, has had great success in the United States,
Asia Pacific, Middle East, South Africa and Europe, having trained over
9,000 physicians in the art and science of Aesthetic Medicine through
its certification and masters courses around the world, annual congresses

2 Amazing Opportunities to Hear Anti-Aging Master, Dr Thierry Hertoghe!
"The Medicine of 2030 is now
ready for your practice!"
The 20th World Congress of
Aesthetic Medicine is proud to
include two insightful and practical
events by anti-aging specialist,
Dr Thierry Hertoghe as its
satellite events.
Dr Thierry Hertoghe (Belgium) is the President of the International Hormone Society (over the 3,000
physicians worldwide) and the World Society of Anti-ageing Medicine (over 7,000 physicians worldwide).
He has written various books on hormone therapy, including the International best seller The Hormone
Handbook - the reference guide for hormone therapies throughout the world, as well as reference guides
to anti-ageing medicine and nutritional therapies.
Dr Hertoghe has initiated numerous new applications of hormone therapy to reverse ageing and disease,
including hormone mesotherapy and local aesthetical or therapeutic hormone applications, and has
acquired expertise in 27 different hormone therapies.
A renowned international speaker, he is a firm believer that the aim of medicine should be to reverse
ageing from the inside through regeneration with hormone and other therapies, completed by local
treatments on areas of the body, which remained refractory to regenerative treatments.
Don't miss Dr Hertoghe at the 20th World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine.
Space at the Anti-Aging Symposium and Mesotherapy Workshop is limited so
