Terramycin 100
Feed Medication for Livestock and Poultry
M.I.B. No. 35 (DIN# 02246807)
Terramycin is a feed medication for livestock and poultry
containing oxytetracycline hydrochloride.
Terramycin effectively prevents and treats a variety of
bacterial diseases and pathogens which are susceptible
to oxytetracycline hydrochloride. Terramycin’s broad
spectrum efficacy will help livestock and poultry to remain
healthy in the presence of disease.
CLASSIFICATION
Terramycin (oxytetracycline hydrochloride) is listed in the
Medicating Ingredients Brochure No. 35.
Terramycin medicated feed products require a 4 to 7 day
withdrawal period prior to slaughter and can be used in
meal or pellet diets formulated for all registered species.
FEATURES
• Terramycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic with efficacy
vs. a wide range of susceptible Gram-positive and
Gram-negative pathogens
• Good feed mixability
• Established administrative maximum residue limit (MRL)
SAFETY
Terramycin medicated feeds, when used as directed, can
be safely administered to poultry and livestock, without
fear of animal toxicity, residue problems or environmental
pollution.
Terramycin is safe if accidentally fed to a variety of nontarget animal species.1
Check the Medicating Ingredients Brochure or product
label for additional information.
MIXING DIRECTIONS
Terramycin medication and medicated supplements or
premixes must be thoroughly mixed in complete diets to
assure even distribution.
Check the Medicating Ingredients Brochure or product
label for additional information.

of atrophic rhinitis. This product has no effect on the
organism causing atrophic rhinitis.
0.25
Feed as the sole ration for as long as symptoms of atrophic rhinitis persist.
NOTE: Not acceptable for pre-starter feeds.
Stress
As an aid in stimulating appetite and maintaining
weight gains during periods of stress caused by
moving, vaccination, castration or extreme temperature changes.
0.50
Feed as the sole ration during periods of stress and until
10 days after the stress conditions have been eliminated.

8-10 days immediately following vaccination. For other
stress conditions, feed for at least 5 days.
History of C.R.D. and/or
