Haikou, HAINAN ISLAND, China, 17–23 July 2016 Special symposium SCOPE Biophysics represents a fundamental branch of physics which applies the knowledge of physics, chemistry, math and computational analysis to understand our living world. Its applications range from biomedicine to treat diseases, neuroscience, bioremediation, biofuel, bioelectricity and forensic science. Biophysics allows to get insight into the interaction between peptides/proteins and lipid membranes and help to build drug delivery devices for medical applications. Biophysics is highly interdisciplinary, and contributions from all disciplines of biophysics, including theoretical/computational approaches, and other sciences are encouraged and welcome. TOPICS Neuroscience, DNA Nanostructures, Biophysics and Medical Physics, Biophysics of Membranes, Techniques for the Study of Cell Mechanics, Computational and Experimental Approaches to Protein Design, Biophysics in Neurodegenerative and Infectious Diseases. APPLICATION AND SUBMISSION We invite you to participate in ICCE-24 and join our “Materials Chemistry Symposium”. You can submit your paper according to the following order: 1)Please send the tentative TITLE of your paper by e-mail IMMEDIATELY to the head steering, Cristiano GIORDANI as well as to ICCE-24 chair (David Hui). 2)Please send the 2-page short paper to the head steering (Prof. Giordani) as well as ICCE Chair, Prof. David Hui before MAY 12, 2016. Detailed two pages short papers should contain enough results to clearly convey the approach. For details of the short paper, registration and venue, please visit the conference home page (http://www.icce-nano.org). Please indicate “Biophysics symposium" on your registration form, and send it to the Chairman of ICCE-24.
