Zwolle, Netherlands and Richardson, TX (March 30, 2011) – Salland Engineering International,
B.V. and Pintail Technologies, Inc. announced today that their respective boards of directors have
approved plans to merge their product lines and worldwide operations. Once the merger is complete,
the company will be the largest supplier of third party software, instrumentation and test applications
for the semiconductor test industry. The combined company will operate as Salland Engineering
International, headquartered in The Netherlands with Paul van Ulsen as CEO.

Salland Engineering will form a new subsidiary headquartered in Austin, TX for the Pintail products.
Keith Arnold, former CTO of Pintail, will be president of Salland Engineering, North America. Mr.
Scanlon will continue as executive advisor to Mr. van Ulsen. The merger is expected to be completed
by early April.
