wienet v3 – router – universally applicable
The new generation of wienet VPN industrial routers is the
ideal communication platform for teleservice, remote
maintenance and industry 4.0
The new wienet v3 routers feature high performance and universal
applicability. They can be used under severe environmental
conditions with temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +75 °C and
their input voltage range from 10 DC to 60 V DC enables a PoE
(Power over Ethernet) option. These routers are suitable for use in
the fields of mechanical engineering, logistics, electrical
engineering or energy production.
They can access the internet via LAN, WLAN, or mobile. The latest
LTE chipset provides maximum bandwidth for mobile operation.
Highly encrypted VPN connections ensure top security for
transmitted data; automatic backup connections to the internet
secure trouble-free operation.
These industrial routers are equipped with a high-performance
ARM CPU with 256 MB Flash and 512 MB RAM. The following
ports are available:
Up to 5 ethernet ports for one to three networks, one USB 2.0 host,
one SD card slot, two digital inputs and one digital output, as well
as:
3 antenna ports: Main, DIV, GPS and WIFI (optional).

Also available as options are an expansion port for RS232 and
RS485 / RS422 interfaces, as well as a WIFI / WLAN module on
the motherboard. The router can then be operated as a WLAN
access point or as a WLAN client.
These routers also feature an energy-saving mode that can be
activated for use in low-power applications. In addition to remote
maintenance, the routers are suitable for preventive maintenance,
for detecting and transmitting data in the field of energy production
and distribution, and for use as mobile wireless hotspots.
