This study demonstrates the understanding of thariqah, the teachings and practices of Sufism and Thariqah Ba‟alwy as well. It also highlights the contribution of Tariqah Ba‟alwy towards promoting Sufism and its revival especially in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries in all around the world. The study found that the Thariqah Ba‟alwy has a great influence on the Sufi order, its development and revival. The study recommends that the Thariqah Ba‟alwy would be a model for other Sufi orders in the present context of the world. This Sufi order can also play to promote a harmonious existence in the society. The methodologies applied in this study are descriptive and analytic.
