Don't be a fool by participating in April's fool. it is based on deception and
lies, both of which are completely forbidden in Islam. The Prophet (pbuh)
informed us that whoever cheats us is not a true Muslim, and whoever lies
to make people laugh is cursed.
Some people say, "but it is only a simple joke... something small" etc. no
harm intended or done. However, we all know that similar arguments
regarding other forbidden practices in Islam are unacceptable. For
example, considering the fact that the Prophet (pbuh) prohibited touching a
woman who you could marry (i.e., you are not mahram to her), to argue that
the Western practice of kissing females on the cheek when meeting is only

MFNS needs your support more than ever before. Just to let you know that
until March 4th, 2016, 1270 Syrian refugees have arrived to Calgary.
Among them 615 are adults and 654 children. 245 families are here with
large family members. MFNS food bank policy is to give grocery items in
double the quantity for such families.

Just because it isn't called pornography, doesn't mean its not. Nudity and
sexual activity creeping into, and in some cases even becoming a
prominent part of, mainstream cable/satellite networks doesn't make it any
less haram (sinful) or degenerate. Be careful not to fool yourself because
you won't be able to say on the day of judgment, "but it was PG 13" or "it
was on HBO!"
Pornography, even in its unrecognized forms, is destroying us as
individuals, families, and communities. God is not held to the industry's
standard of morality and it is He who will hold us accountable. If you're
struggling privately, seek forgiveness from Him and keep fighting it. But
don't unashamedly make reference to these shows publicly thereby
continuing to normalize what can never be deemed acceptable.
