his activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the AACME’s Accreditation
Standards & Policies and the Essential Areas and Their Elements through joint-sponsorship with
the Turkish Diabetes Foundation.
The Center for Diabetes Education, USA is accredited by the American Association of Continuing
Medical Education (AACME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd International Symposium on Diabetes & Ramadan
responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd International Symposium on Diabetes & Ramadan
presents this activity for educational purposes only.
Participants are expected to utilize their own expertise and judgment while engaged in the practice
of medicine.

of their recognized expertise.
AACME Credit Designation
The Accreditation Review Committee (ARC) of the American Association of Continuing Medical
Education (AACME) designates this medical education activity for a maximum of 7.00 hours in
the Category 1 credit of the AACME Designation. Each physician must claim only those credits
that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
It is the policy of the American Association of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) to ensure
balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its sponsored educational programs.
All faculty participating in continuing medical education activities sponsored by the Center for
Diabetes Education, USA are required to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent
