1. Aims of the Course:
 To educate students about the different
categories of microorganisms including
bacteria,
viruses
&
fungi
regarding
classification, structure, growth characteristics
& replication of each microbial category.
 To provide students with knowledge about the
physiology of microorganisms, the growth
curve, and microbial metabolism.
 To help student to understand the basic
background about microbial genetics and
immunology (including innate and acquired
immunity).

At the end of this course, student should be
