Relative atomic mass: The relative atomic mass of an element is defined as the average mass of its isotopes as compared with the mass of an atom of the carbon-12 isotope. Relative isotopic mass: the mass of a particular isotope of an element on a scale where an atom of the carbon-12 isotope has a mass of exactly 12 units. Relative molecular mass: the mass of a molecule measured on a scale on which an atom of the C-12 isotope has a mass of exactly 12. Relative formula mass: the mass of one formula unit of a compound measured on a scale on which an atom of the C-12 isotope has a mass of 12 units. Mole (in terms of Avogadro constant): It is that amount of substance that has same number of particles/atoms/ions/electrons/molecules as there are atoms in exactly 12 g of the C-12 isotope. Molecular formula: the formula which tells the exact number of different types atoms present in one molecule of a substance. Empirical Formula: the formula which tells the simplest ratio of different types of atoms present in one molecule of a substance.
