NS Antimicrobial Nail Solution or any other medications (including over the counter or prescription) while
pregnant or breast feeding without consulting a physician.
Why does your packaging say “Not Effective on Scalp or Nails”?
Since 1994, the Food and Drug Administration requires this statement for all topical anti-fungal products,
or products making anti-fungal claims. At the time, which predates Mycocide’s SAB technology, the FDA
concluded that no product then available could demonstrate the ability to penetrate through the nail.
Mycocide’s unique delivery system does not need to penetrate through the nail to get to the site of
infection, which is supported by published clinical research. New nail growth starts at the area of the
