Use of this product is contraindicated in animals
with a history of hypersensitivity to clindamycin or
lincomycin.
Antagonism has been demonstrated between
clindamycin and erythromycin.
During prolonged therapy of one month or greater,
periodic liver and kidney function tests and blood
counts should be performed.
Patients with severe renal and/or very severe
hepatic disturbances accompanied by severe
metabolic aberrations should be dosed with
caution and should be monitored by serum
examination during high-dose clindamycin therapy.
Use with caution in animals receiving
neuromuscular blocking agents.
Safety in gestating bitches, queens or breeding
male dogs and cats has not been established.
Clindamycin sometimes causes the overgrowth of
non-susceptible organisms such as some
clostridia and yeasts. Vomiting and diarrhoea have
occasionally been observed.

Dispose of container by wrapping with paper and
putting in garbage.

DOSAGE:
For the treatment of dental
infections, wounds and
abscesses, administer orally
5.5 mg/kg bodyweight every
12 hours for 7-10 days, and
up to 28 days.
For the treatment of
osteomyelitis, administer
orally 11 mg/kg bodyweight
every 12 hours for at least
28 days.
Dosage Table
Dog & Cat (bodyweight 4-5 kg)
Dental infections, wounds and
abscesses . . . . . . . . . . . . . 25 mg
twice daily for 7-10 days,
and up to 28 days
Osteomyelitis . . . . . . . . . . . . . 50 mg
twice daily for at least 28 days
If no clinical response is seen
within 4 days redetermine the
diagnosis.
Handling Precautions:
This material may cause skin and
eye irritation. Avoid contact with
the skin and eyes.

Antibiotic liquid for oral

infected wounds, abscesses,
dental infections and
osteomyelitis caused by
aerobic and anaerobic bacteria
susceptible to clindamycin.
Aerobic bacteria:
Staphylococcus aureus,
Staphylococcus spp., and
Streptococcus spp. Anaerobic
bacteria: Bacteroides spp.,
Fusobacterium spp.,
Actinomyces spp.,
Peptostreptococcus spp.,
Propionibacterium spp., and
some Clostridium spp.
