Clone FRIMsrp 001 as a New Cultivar (Cultivated Variety) for
the Production of Timber for Furniture Industry
Ringkasan Inovasi
The present inventiom relates to a fungal-derived active extract
comprising of a biological active compound F4009bP1 from
submerged cultures of basidiomycete fungal strain FRIM550 and
biologically pure cultures thereof. More particularly it relates to a
fungal-derived active extract comprising of biologival active
compound F4009bP1 whgich has atimictobial properties against
fram positive bacteria as well as the multi-resistant-
Tujuan Inovasi
The clone namely FRIMsrp 001 of Endorspermum malaccense is
targeted to be used as an alternative supplement for rubberwood
for the furniture industry.
Impak inovasi
New cultivar of genetically improved clone to serve as planting
materials for forest plantation development. This clone was
chosen for this purpose due to some of its excellent attributes
such as harvestable as early as 10 years after planting on good soil
conditions with a nice wood color and better quality for the
furniture industry.
