Welcome:
In order to update new knowledge, techniques as well as share experiences of the countries in the region in
combating cancer and enhancing cooperation in training and research in the arena of comprehensive cancer
control program, the 8th APOCP Regional Conference, Nov. 1-3, 2015 Tehran, Iran provides opportunities
for all participants to exchange information, ideas, field practices, and achievements in cancer research and
prevention. The meeting covers all aspect of cancer prevention and control with major themes of; cancer
control program, cancer risk factors and epidemiology, genetic and pathologic prospect in, and social aspect
of cancer patients in a cancer control program. More than 180 scientists from different parts of world will
presents their research work in three days of densely scheduled program..
On behalf of all the Asia Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention, the local and regional scientific committee members, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who have contributed up to this point
