Radiation Oncology Fellowship – Prostate Cancer
BC Cancer Agency – Vancouver Island Centre
Victoria, BC
The Vancouver Island Centre (VIC) of the BC Cancer Agency in Victoria has a one-year fellowship
opportunity in prostate cancer available to commence in July 2011. This fellowship has a 50 %
translational research component also supported by the Deeley Research Centre. The main

treatment outcomes. The successful candidate will be a radiation oncologist who has interest in
taking novel treatment concepts from the laboratory into the clinic. Experience in grant and

VIC serves over 2900 new patients annually and offers state-of-the-art radiotherapy including

has a bio-bank of blood samples and a tissue repository designed to provide cancer researchers
around the world with essential cancer patient specimens for basic and clinical studies.
