Winning the fight against cancer, every day.®
The CTCA Mission
CTCA is the home of integrative and
compassionate cancer care.
We never stop searching for and providing
powerful and innovative therapies to heal the
whole person, improve quality of life and
restore hope.
Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Model Overview:
• CTCA is a privately held network of cancer treatment hospitals and outpatient
oncology clinics with locations in Zion, Illinois; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania; Goodyear, Arizona and Seattle, Washington. Our newest
facility, which will be located in Newnan, Georgia, is expected to open in
September of 2012.
• CTCA treats more than 5,000 new and returning patients each year, has a
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 6, and has over 130 guest rooms for patients
and families(an average of 25 guest rooms for new facility).
• CTCA has more than 1,500 doctors and clinical professionals.
• CTCA’s growth initiative will place hospitals within 300 miles of approximately
80% of the U.S. population.
Our Hospital’s Trademark Principles:
The CTCA Promise
You and your healing are at the center of our
hearts, minds and actions every day.
We rally our team around you, delivering
compassionate, integrative cancer care for
your body, mind and spirit.
We offer clear information, powerful and
thorough treatment options, all based on your
needs.
We honor your courage, respect your
decisions, and offer to share your journey of
healing and hope.
• Integrative Care - where oncologists work closely with staff nutritionists,
mind-body therapists, naturopathic doctors, physical therapists and spiritual
support to treat the whole person; all under one roof.
• The Mother Standard® - a standard required at CTCA that exceeds the level
of care found at most hospitals. This is the standard of care CTCA staff would
want for their own mothers and has created the “gold standard” in cancer
care across the nation.
• Patient Empowerment Medicine – a treatment model wherein patients and
caregivers are positioned at the center of their care, voicing opinions and
participating in their own treatment decisions.
• Advanced Technologies and Treatment Protocols - TomoTherapy® radiation
treatment to pinpoint and more safely treat cancer, High-Dose
Brachytherapy, Radiofrequency Ablation of Metastatic Tumors, Intra-arterial
and Chemoembolization, and many others.
