Web Developer
The web developer (UI) will produce and create web pages, as well as related XHTML, CSS and
JavaScript code, publish content online that fits project requirements and adhere to content and
design guidelines as well as established industry standards and best practices.
- Produce bespoke web UI code (HTML/CSS/JS) according to client requirements under the
guidance of a web development lead
- Produce bespoke HTML/CSS code for use in the Group’s range of web content management
systems
- Work with designers to convert web design into usable web-standard UI code
Qualifications
 Highly proficient in HTML/XHTML and CSS
 Advanced JS knowledge is preferred with experience using a JS framework
 A conceptual familiarity with XML is expected
 Experience with AJAX based applications
 Expertise with cross-browser, cross-platform development practices
 A flair for design and attention to detail
 Good interpersonal communication skills
 Strong command of both written and spoken English
 Capability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
 Structured, systematic working style
 Able to work as part of a team
 Positive attitude and keen to learn
 Available to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary
 Flexibility in working different shifts when necessary
