Neocate Spoon is a hypoallergenic amino acid
based nutritional supplement containing essential
vitamins and minerals. It is a powder which mixes
with water to form a spoonable consistency. An ideal
base for introducing both sweet and savoury foods
into the diet.

Indications
• For use in the dietary management of infants (over 6
months) and children with cow’s milk allergy, multiple
food protein intolerance and other indications where
an amino acid based nutritional supplement is
recommended

Storage
• Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place
• Once opened, reseal can and store in a cool, dry
place and use within one month
Shelf Life
• Unopened shelf life is 18 months
Directions for Use
• The suggested serving size is 8 scoops (37g) of
Neocate Spoon plus 60ml water to give a
spoonable consistency (approximately 97g). A
smaller serving size can be prepared by adding
4 scoops of Neocate Spoon to 30ml water
• For infants starting onto solids, the consistency
of Neocate Spoon can be altered. Please
consult a healthcare professional for guidance
• It is recommended that cooled, boiled water be
used when preparing the product for infants
• Do not add Neocate Spoon to very hot foods. Do
not warm prepared product
• Follow preparation instructions as stated on the
can
Precautions
• Suitable for children and infants over 6 months
only
• Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Infants
should receive Neocate Spoon as well as breast
milk or a hypoallergenic infant formula
• Not suitable for bottle feeding or tube feeding
• Not for parenteral use
