CO-OP SCRATCH FEEDS
Co-op carries two types of scratch feeds
to meet the supplemental energy needs of
poultry. Our traditional two grain scratch is
a mixture of corn and wheat and is available in either 25-pound bags (#197) or 50pound bags (#198).
Our three grain scratch feed is a mixture
of cracked corn, milo, and wheat. Available
in 50-pound (#91052) bags.
Both these feeds are designed to be fed
with poultry concentrate rations, including
our Premium Game Cock Feeds.

FEEDING
Our rations contain only the highest-quality ingredients.
• Provide added amino acids for improved
feathering and plumage.
• Provide more than adequate levels of fat
soluble and B complex vitamins.
• Provide more than adequate levels of
minerals that are well balanced, essential for
bone growth, blood, and muscle development.
• Provide nutrients for blood development and
blood clotting.
• Are designed for muscle development and
strong healthy birds.
• Promote high hatchability with strong viable
poults.
• Provide high energy and protein, all balanced
to produce fast growth and development.
• Offer a field-tested program.
Note: All Premium Game Cock Feeds are made
from grains that have been cleaned with the dust
and chaf removed
Twelve Weeks Of Age:
Begin feeding Premium Stag Developer Ration. This ration is made for the young stag
and will make for good growth and muscle
development.
For Older Stags, Cocks, and Hens:
Feed Base Mix or Rooster Kicker.
These rations contain high levels of the necessary vitamins and minerals for good feather
development, muscle development, stamina,
and power. Reports from feeders who have
used these rations say their birds don’t bleed
as bad, and do not require as much feed per
feeding. These feeds are well fortified and
should not need additional vitamin mixtures.
For layers, add limestone or oyster shell for
egg shell development.
The Base Mix is made up of whole shell corn.
The Rooster Kicker is the same as grain
base with dog food added.
When conditioning cock training, begin adding Premium Condition Ration. This ration
contains high protein, flint or popcorn, Canadian peas, a high level of oat groats, a few
sunflower seeds, milo, and higher levels of
the necessary nutritional levels. May use
Condition Ration with Scratch or other
grains.
CAUTION: When feeding PREMIUM GAME
COCK RATIONS DO NOT OVER FEED.
When you observe the birds leaving feed,
back off. Keep the birds just a bit hungry.
These feeds are rich.
