IODOPHOR SANITIZER
CLEANER / SANITIZER
PRODUCT USES
This is a low foaming, cleaner/sanitizer approved by the EPA, for use on glasses,
dishes, equipment, walls, floors, countertops, and storage areas.
OPERATOR BENEFITS • Low foaming cleaner / sanitizer.
• Leaves NO streaks or spots on glasses or dishes.
• Ideal for sanitizing bar glasses.
DIRECTIONS FOR USEFive Step Sanitizing Procedure:
1. Pre-flush and pre-scrape equipment and utensils.
2. Wash equipment and utensils in lukewarm water that contains an adequate
amount of good detergent or cleaner.
3. Rinse equipment and utensils free of wash water prior to sanitization.
4. Immerse equipment and utensils in a solution of 1 oz. TMA IODOPHOR SANITIZER
per 5 gallons of lukewarm water (provides 25 ppm titratable iodine). Allow one
minute contact time (or longer if required by local sanitation codes). Change water,
as needed, to maintain a minimum of 25 ppm iodine, replacing at least once daily.
Use an approved test kit to check concentration.
5. After sanitizing for one minute or more, allow equipment and utensils to air dry.
Do NOT rinse.
TMA Iodophor Sanitizer is regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under
the Food Additive regulation for use on food processing equipment and utensils up to
25 ppm of titratable iodine, without requiring a rinse with potable water.
